CT whole abdomen : Plain and triple phase post contrast enhanced MDCT were performed.
History : case right-sided abdomen pain 1 week PTA with suspected colonic mass.
FINDING: the study shows
- A 1.4x1.5x0.8-cm. peripheral nodular arterial enhancing
hypodense lesion in hepatic segment 7 , which shows
progressive centripetal fill in on PVP and delayed phase
- Normal attenuation of liver parenchyma. The hepatic and
portal veins are patent. No biliary ductal dilatation is
seen.
- Normal appearance of the gallbladder , spleen , pancreas ,
both adrenal glands and kidneys
- The stomach , appendix and visualized bowel loops are
unremarkable.
- The uterus, both adnexae and urinary bladder are WNL.
- Minimal ascites in Cal-de-sac. No significant abdominal
lymphadenopathy is seen.
- No intraperitoneal free is seen.
- Minimal dependent atelectasis in both basal lungs.
- The bony structures are intact.
IMPRESSION
- No gross colonic mass.
- A 1.4x1.5x0.8-cm. hemangioma in hepatic segment 7.
- Minimal ascites in Cal-de-sac.
